UCB Graphic Desing Students Visit Japan

The Graphic Design Department of the University College of Bahrain (UCB) arranged for 11 students accompanied by 3 faculty members to participate in a 10-day educational and cultural trip to Japan recently.

The trip began from Tokyo where they visited various museums and other places of interest such as the Asakusa Kannon Temple and Nakamise Shopping Arcade, Imperial Palace, Tokyo Tower, Akihabara Shopping, Tokyo Disneysea and the Ceramic Workshop, as well as watching a play at the Kabuki-Za theatre. Further in Kyoto they visited Toei Koyoto Studio Park, Fushimi Inari, Ryoanji Temple, Kiyomizudera Temple, Nijo Castle, Kinkakiji Temple and Kyoto Handicraft Centre.

The students ended their journey in Osaka where they visited Osaka Castle, Kaiyukan Aquarium and the National Bunraku Theatre. All the students thoroughly enjoyed the trip and were delighted at being given the opportunity to see such vibrant artwork and they expressed their gratitude to UCB for this wonderful experience.
